We measure Necochea’s weather with our own stations at the beach and at the downtown.

Data sources

Local telemetry

Speed and direction of the wind, temperature, humidity, and pressure are measured by the city’s ESP32 nodes.

Global weather models

The hourly forecast comes from Open-Meteo. It does not replace the node readings.

How we measure

We show each node’s latest reading. If 15 minutes pass with no report, it is marked as no signal. We do not fill that gap with the global model.

For now the project installs the hardware. If you want to host a node somewhere else in Necochea, write to us.
